How do I configure my various drives to automatically start reading any disc or memory card inserted into them?
I know that this is basic,simple stuff, but I'm suffering with 'information overload' and memory retention ( I think) problems!!
Any help (simple) much appreciated

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If autoplay has somehow been disabled - not necessarily a bad thing, Google "Sony rootkit" - an easy way to reinstate it is to download and install Tweak UI from Microsoft, it's free and allows you to set/unset autoplay by drive as well as make a few other useful tweaks. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/p owertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
