It can depend on many factors Lorraine, including the breed. It's best to look up your particular breed, or ask your vet.
Our rabbit was a blue Dutch and had to be put to sleep at 9 years old. This apparently was a good age according to our vet, but then again some can live to the ripe old age of 15.
