Im sure pretty much all of us have an eBay horror story to tell so i want bore anybody with mine
but why oh why cant eBay have some kind of better protocol in place for weeding out non paying winning bidders or even eBay should honour the winning bid if he/she doesnt pay then have a seperate dept to deal with it and reclaim the money like any other big company does
its just faceless profiteering

Non-paying bidders are just a hazard of using eBay, I personally love it, but it could ans hsould be run better. Ever tried to sort out a problem with them? Try speaking to someone, its impossible. All we can do is protect ourselves by banning bidders with say less than 5 rating on our sales, and keep reporting them. Keeping a close eye at the end of an auction.(Choose an end time when you know you are around, and try to cancel any dodgy bidders before the auction ends). They do say it is a contract, but with the law as it stands, it is too expensive and arduous to pursue non-payers.
