pan in ovaries

im 13 weeks pregnant and keep getting gripping pains where my ovaries are. Not all the time but it feels like they are being gripped then let go. It's not both sides at the same time but it's really ncomfortable.

I mentioned this to my midwife and she said unless i'm bleeding I shouldnt worry. Has anyone else ha this if so what is it, it's driving me mad.

i had terrible pains in my stomache.the further into my pregnancy i got the worse the pain got.nobody could find anything wrong but i knew this wasn,t normal as i never got it with my other pregnancy.after i gave birth i was told i had group b strep.women dont get tested for it during pregnancy even though it can be fatal.i suspect that it was this desease that was causing me pain.this is not dagerous to you but it is to the baby.please try not to worry it could be nothing but i would strongly recomend asking about this.i wish i knew about this before

Hello x im also getting the same pains and went to see my doctor last night she took a water sample and gave me antibiotics for a water infection. Basically having too much protein in my urine. i keep getting them all the time and usually have to crouch my legs upwards to kind of release the pain! its horrible. x

blimey my pain isnt that bad but is uncomfortable. I am going to mention it again when I next see my midwife as so far no urine samples have been done. I am surprised of the lack of care at the moment. I know it's my 3rd child (5th preganancy) so due to that I thought they would be a bit more cautious. Obviously not! Hope your pain gets better Ioza. And Christina81 I have heard of strep B but thought you could only get that after your waters had broke so I will read up more about that- thanks.

im 16 weeks pregnant, and so far has been getting the same sort of pain you are experienceing. this can be cause if the baby in lying on your pelvis, or can be your stomach is expanding. if your still getting the pains just take a rest, it will go away.

you have group b strep in you. its a bacteria that is supposed to stay in your intestines but sometimes escapes but it is only dangerous to the baby as it passes onto the child during the delivery .they can stop this by giving you medication when labour starts

bit can it cause miscarriage while i'm still pregnant as I had this pain when I lost my forst one and I was 16 wks. I dont want to go through that again.

hi there i had those pains i think its when the baby is positioned funny, (lying on something), i know that braxton hicks are pains like these, but i think your a little early for those, try and rest it may just be that your stressed or over working or something it may be your bodys way of saying slow down girl!!!

i dont know if all hospitals have an early pregnancy unit but ours does. you can be refered by your doctor or by self referal and can take yourself down there when you want. explain the situation, especilly as youve lost a baby b4, they will at least monitor babys hearbeat and probably scan you. i hope everything is ok. i know how awful that horrible in limbo feeling is, as if your waiting for the worst to happen. xx

group b strep does not cause miscarriages as far as i know .I've never heard of it before.maybe you should get some information off the internet. would definately mention it to your midwife though! hope everything goes well.It could be nothing though.Pregnancy does funny things to a woman.For all you know it could be you being stressed causing it.Try and relax.I know its easier said than done.
