Sugar substitute

Can anyone tell what what is the sugar substitute that is advertised on Tv? It is the same as sugar, looks like sugar and you use it like sugar. Thank you.

Its very similar to that Candarel sugar substitute, yuk yuk yuk - it tastes horrid, any sugar substitute does to me, same as low calorie drinks, bleh bleh bleh...i would rather just have water, or cut down on the real sugar.
