Life after George 80s TV series

I have tried putting this in the internet and nothing comes up. I remember watching this programme and there was a woman with very long blonde hair and her partner/husband (George) had gone missing I think. The story was about this other nice man that fancied her and just as they eventually get it together George comes back on the scene. Please tell me I didn't make this up! If it was real, I'd love to watch it again - any idea where I might get hold of it? Beaniegirl1976 x
