This may be a daft question, but whay can you dispose of plastic wise at the recylcling bins.

Also, what can you put in the council box for newspapers (apart from magazines) ie shredded paper etc?

best to contact your local council as it varies across the country.
I have relatives down south who can put glass in but we cant in east anglia.
We also cant recycle shredded paper
As redcrx says it's best to contact your local council. We do receive a list every year, along with the dates of collection, stateing what we can and can't put in our recycling boxes, eg no envelopes (too much glue apparently).

OK will do that as we have never had a comprehensive list from them.

I was more wondering about the public plastic recycling centres.
