What are some of the most depressing, miserable songs you've ever heard? Really, actual depressing, miserable songs. I've got a few right now...

Blasphemous Rumours by Duncan Sheik (Yes, the Depeche Mode song)

Heart Attack in a Layby by Porcupine Tree

Everyday is Like Sunday by Morrissey

Asleep by the Smiths

Street Spirit (Fade Out) by Radiohead

Leave by R.E.M

Superstar by the Carpenters

Magic by Ben Folds Five

Sleeping In by the Postal Service

Something in the Way by Nirvana

El President by Drugstore

Come Undone by Duran Duran

Party by El Perro Del Mar

Elizabeth on the Bathroom Floor by the Eels

Wasted at Your Wing by Deckard

Seule by Kaada and Patton

Sunday by Jimmy Eat World

Well, I ran out of songs, but that's a good start. Help me compose a neverending list of complete misery for your life.

Nothing ever happens - Del Amitrii
The drugs don't work - The Verve?
Seasons in the Sun - done by a few
Many of Nine Inch Nails compositions are extremely depressing - although Trent Reznor is a genius! Not the kind of stuff to get you in a good mood - you either want to start a fight or kill yourself. Pretty bleak stuff.

Radiohead are also the same - Thom Yorke also a genius but for goodness sake - cheer up :-)

Annie Lennox - her album 'Bare' - lays her failed relationship out to dry but again pretty depressing stuff.

Soz about not offering specific song titles.
The smiths- last night i dreamt somebody loved me.
Great for when you feel like s**t but want to feel even worse!!
