National Insurance contributions

Someone I know opted out of SERPS some years ago , ( when the government was recomending it ) and diverted NI contributions into a private pension .

She belives that ( although she is not sure ) she opted back in again

Where can she check to see what the state of play is regarding her NI contributions and her state pension ?
