Christians are very thin on the ground on R&S lately. Have they finally seen the error of their ways?

The Christians usually have a tub or two to thump............

I was thinking of asking you to be our mentor, Octavius, but if you don't think we're up to the X-Factor, how about Grease? Or better still, how about 'Joseph'? Go on Luna, give him a quick blast.
"I Wore My Coat With Golden Lining
Bright Colours Shining
Wonderful And New..........Doo Be Doo Be Doo......"
Question Author
Oh Luna, I think we've cracked it!
Ooh this thread is like a little mini-cult all of its own.

I would have offered services as a mentor, but all this malarkey seems far too happy-clappy for my liking.
Question Author
Oh dear. It's being so happy that keeps you going Octavius.
Actually naomi24, outside of R&S wherein my entire belief system is ridiculed and admonished ritualistically (no cults involved) on a daily basis, I am a very happy chappy with many friends. Must admit though, some of your one-liners split my sides, and although the whole I see dead people thingy is a bit weirdy weirdy, I wont go on about it.

I wouldnt want you to assume that I am a Mr Grumpy Pants because I am a Christian though. So to show no hard feelings hows about you and me join together for a couple of rounds of Kumbaya?
Is a mini-cult the same as a maxi-cult ?
never mind mini or maxi (sounds like a tampon) what about my clarinet, eh?
shall I dust it off or what?
And the bongo's. What about them?
Sitting around waiting to be played with and not one taker...
Havnt even got around to my tamborine...
naomi, you'v let me down you have...
Ive been nice to Mani (on another thread)
I've made no sexual overtones,
I've kept out of contraversitial threads...
and what do I get?
A rusty claranet, thats what...

Did I mention my triangle?
Question Author
Luna, mmmmm ..... now there's a thought.

Wiz, now come on. Would I l let you down? Never!! But hang on, where have you been nice to Mani? I want proof.

A rusty clarinet and you're disappointed? With Luna and his spoons, Mani with his shoe box, Coco with her washboard and me and my paper and comb, a rusty clarinet is a bonus to our band - and you can bring your bongos too. What a team!!

Octavius, Kumbaya? Would you mind awfully if I passed on that for the time being. No offence you understand - just not really my thing. Never was partial to boy scouts. Anyway, so pleased that something makes you laugh, but being the caring person I am (albeit not Christian) I wouldn't want to make you split your sides. Do be careful, please. When you're not used to humour you have to approach it gradually, and eventually, with practice, you may even be able to manage a real guffaw.
Hey Wiz, I never thought of tampons, just :Mini, as in those of us on here and : Maxi, being the fairly large organisations that have "the" God as their guide.

With the inclusion of triangle, bongos, rusty clarinet and maybe a hint of tambourine, I can see the broom cupboard needing an extension for our rehearsals. We're definitely a close-nit ensemble.
Question Author
close 'nit' is about right! Haaa!!
A dying breed maybe. But is the society that is emerging as a result a better one? I don't think so.
Question Author
Oakleaf, this question was rather tongue in cheek you know. However, I do hope you're not suggesting that non-Christians are less likely than Christians to hold decent values and to live a respectable lifestyle.
Is Luna suggesting that God was a 'Guide'. Bet his pack had an armful of badges.........:o)
"Dib Dib......and all that jazz".
Ah! Jazz! Another of your amazing virtuoso talents!
