I have solved the instructions but am unsure of which words need to be highlighted. Any clues please.

I thought that I knew my places but I can only find 8 of them. I now cannot see the wood for the trees going round and round the grid.
One begins with B, one with K, one with L, one with P, one with Q and three with R -- and are all words within words. Is the ninth similar ? Just a clue please ?!

Basically: yes! I thought the 9th was a bit obscure but then I'm no geographer.

And why was EV questioned in this thread?!

In fact two begin with L - you shouldn't have far to go for the final Capital.

Thank you logophile for that generous clue. I must admit that it isn't one of those that I know from memory ! Just from the symmetry of the grid I thought that it should be in the top left corner but couldn't "see it".
