hydrenga not blooming

My wife has a hydrenga thats about two years old and it won't bloom??? What are we doing wrong?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If it's not too late I wouldn't worry about moving it just yet,unless it's getting the early morning sun, which will scorch any flower buds on frosty mornings. Hydrangeas actually prefer some shade - mine does really well in an almost no sun area. Maybe your soil is the problem - this (terribly long!) link might help

I realize that it's been a long time since you posted this question, but if you still haven't found the answer, take a look here. Once you id your hydrangea, look at the pruning requirements.
