According to the card I should use 15w but I seem to have 10w in my fuses at the moment. Would this be right

If a 2.5mm cable were to be stripped bare and used as a fuse wire, it would take a currant of several thousand amps before it would melt, NOT BLOW to interupt the supply
However I would agree with WC in that If you are not sure what you are doing get and electrician to sort it for you.

ric.ror Just dont take any notice of the idiot telling you put 2.5 stripped cable in as a fuse, fuse wire is rated so that in the event of any electrical overload the wire will blow, listen to woodchopper, You can replace fuse boards with RCD boards now that are a lot safer, and well worth the outlay from a good electrician.
