i sent a cheque to a finance company to pay for my car the money came out of my bank account but 3 days later the money was put back in the bank said the signature did not match si i phoned the finance company up and they said that my balance is cleared. its been 2 weeks now and the money is still in my account . so whats going on and can i take the money out and spend it else where

well you could - but when the finance company relalise that a mistake has been made they will be entitled to demand payment.
