Should rat questions be outlawed by Answerbank, as rat questions seem to encourage more rat questions?!?

I think a lot of people on this siter have become bitchy and rude about some genuine questions. I know we get a lot of silly ones too, but no one is forced to read them. Just IGNORE questions you dont like.
I get a kick out of silly Qs, especially if they have a bit of 'wit' about them. Of course there are a few that are best ignored. Nothing should be outlawed on answerbank (except the nasty stuff of course).
I once grabbed a rat by the tail (cos it was sitting on my sister's kitchen bench eating her bread)...and the skin all around its tail came off in my hand as it shot off out the window. We were all vbery grossed-out, especially me with this mangy bit of skin in my hand. Later, I heard they caught the rat & let it go!!! near the river reporting that its tail was ok but slightly skin-less. Dirty things, rats.
I don't understand how me posting an innocent question in my bid to be a responsible pet owner has led to this.
I do think Janetex thought he/she was funny in posting loads of rat questions after mine, wich most people didn't pick up on - me included at first. I get Moonhead's point that nobody is forced to read the 'silly' questions like Janetex's - the problem is more that genuinely helpful people mistake them for real questions. And I think Felixthedog has pet and wild rats mixed up - unless he's trying to imply that I shouldn't be keeping rats as pets. Any pet rat owner could have told him that if you pick a rat up by the tail there's a very good chance you'll 'skin' it! He learned the hard way.
I have no problem with tame pet rats. The one I referred to was nearly two feet long, oily brown, teeth to spare and looked like it killed cats for fun. I didnt know about the tails comming off like that but I was trying to get it by the neck to kill it, but it was so fast, I only caught its tail. I dont even really believe in killing things, but it was a rat in the house and it was eating the bread!!!
