cup ring on leather table.

Hi, please can anyone tell me how to get rid of a cup ring indentation from a leather table. I foolishly placed my coffee cup onto the newspaper which was on the coffee table and now have a very noticiable cup ring (it is not a stain it is an indentation). Does anyone know of a way to remove it . A friend suggested I place a towel on top of the ring mark and iron over it, but I thought I'd seek everyones advice first! Many thanks.

i would say try the same with ice............ it works on indentations on carpets where furniture has been

This should fix itself over time. If your cofee cup left this ring I would be very careful using the iron. Your best bet is to just give it a couple days.
