If you have the electrical & plumbing knowledge, then I can't see why not. My husband does all our installations, but then he can turn his hand to most things through experience!
Go for it ..... I had to install our first washing machine cos my STUPID husband had it half way across the kitchen thanks to not being able to see the socket near the floor where the machine was meant to sit ... he plugged it on to the socket up on the wall by a cupboard then couldnt shove the machine under the counter.
MEN!!!!
Easier than you think especially if you have a cold fill dishwasher reason being most people have washing machines/dishwashers connected to both hot+cold water feeds, NO NEED by the time you`ve switched the appliances on the water from the pipes is cold. Both of mine are fed with cold water a simple Y connector for the water feed and 2 waste pipe connectors onto you sink watse. Be careful as some plumbers(not all) tend to bump up their prices in advising you differently.
