Travel with Puppy

Can you travel overseas with your dog? My friend is under the impression that if you bring your dog overseas- like Hong Kong, that they will keep the dog in quarentine for 6 weeks upon return to the United States.

This is probably not the best place to ask this question as it is a UK based site, but for what it is worth, I am pretty sure your friend is correct, except that 6 months is more likely than 6 weeks. And that does not include what may happen to it on arrival in HK. You should definitely not try to take your dog out of the country unless you are emigrating.
