where did the saying 'christ on a bike' come from??

it is a bona fide expression. No idea where it came from, but I find it amusingly descirptive, as exclamations go....right up there with 'F*** me gently!'

yes, i have heard it as "christ on a bicycle"...always thought it meant something completely unlikely and unexpected> Where's Quizzy when you need him??
well I did find one place but it only spoke of the phrase being used in Dennis Potter's Singing Detective. However, I also found the phrase "Christ in ****** nappies, what a life" which had me pmsl.
that shuld have read "christ in sh1tty nappies" rofl
christ on a bike is the riding trick where the driver, with the motorcycle moving, stands up on the seat and holds his arms out in a crucifiction type stance - way cool and way scary!
