Must a house have a bath?

I have heard form friends and relatives that there is some property law that states when selling a property, it must have at least one bath (having only a shower is not allowed).
Does anyone know if this is true?

I have never heard of such a thing, I own two cotttages myself that only have shower rooms, and I am not in the least bit worried about that, they will be sold.
A house does not need a bath, shower or toilet to be sold.
Houses are sold in varying conditions, many for renovation.
However, there is strict criteria that must be met for a house to be 'fit for habitation' - this includes either a shower or bath:
