Best price for new car?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a new Golf. I was trying to source a demonstrator or almost new car from a dealer, but frankly I could buy a brand new one online for almost the same price. So my question is ... which online site does the best deal and is the most reliable for buying a new car? Any recommendations? Much appreciated. * thought I'd posted this up, but can't see it anywhere. Duh.

My golf came from Motorpoint, albeit it was imported from Holland, the price was a damn site cheaper than any VW main agents and spec of it is well, fully loaded with all the extras that doesn`t come as standard on uk spec ones
