The manager in Game told me that the new GTA will be bigger on the PS3 version than on the X360. Does anyone have evidence of this??

If so, I reckon it might be the game that persuades me to get a PS3... :-o

Although I remember hearing that the downloadable content may be different.

I've also heard that there will be no planes. I'm gutted.
One of my favourite things about San Andreas was being able to fly around and then parachute out.

I didn't play GTA-SA but I played Vice City and GTA3 to death. I read on Wikipedia that there won't be any planes and that the map will actually be smaller than san andreas.

The trailer looks bloody good though and Pruit Igoe is a great bit of music...

Game have always been biased towards sony.GTA will probably be bigger on the 360 due to the established sales base.there is an outside chance that it may never arrive on ps3 as there were strong rumours a while back that ms were trying to buy the software house responsible for the game.

Physically the game will be no bigger on either platform, so the Game manager would, and this surprises me, be speaking absolute ********. It amazes me how some people in their advisory position can be so fundamentally wrong.

Is it not too early too tell if 1 console will have better contant than the other, i wouldnt get a ps3 on the managers recommendation

The developers of GTA IV have quite publicly complained that the 360s lack of high capacity drive (i.e. no Blu-Ray or HD-DVD for gaming) and models with no HDD (i.e. the core model)will seriously hamper the game - they have said however that the 360 and PS3 versions will be the same - limited to the 360s standard.
Shame imo, I'd have shipped it as a single BD disc for the PS3 and multiple DVDs for the 360 then everyone gets a great game without compromises.
