my pc takes along while to settle down( 20 mins),so i looked at task master and found apdproxy.exe running at 98 %and cpu at the bottom 100% i found apdprpxy is to do with adobe on the net ,and it offered a free reg check which i had, and it informed me i had 650 reg faults ,being closer to 80 than 70 yrs and the wife wont let me put bank info on the net I dashed to pc world to get a reg cleaner ,but the lad said they are a waste of time I need to bring it in for a clean up ,he also said down loading the 15 free fixes could give me more trouble (damn to late) my questions are is 20 mins normal and should I worry about the 650 faults and are reg cleaners really no good and am I wasting my time trying to understand pcs . thank you all & all the best

But if you go into msconfig you can disable that under the "startup" tab.
If you are uncomfortable with that download this free utility
