Criminal conviction checks
I am applying for a job in canada. Do I have to tell them about a criminal conviction for benefit fraud in 1995? If it helps I was only fined for this with no other sentence applied.

So, unless Canada has similar legislation in place (which would probably be referred to in any form you have to complete), you'll have to declare the conviction.
