I'm thinking of going at the end of August....has anyone been? if so is there a lot to do other than sunbathe? I get bored easily just sitting around and would like somethings to see or do...any suggestions would be good!

There are (or, rather, were) some useful posts on the BBC's Holiday programme website. The relevant page no longer exists on the BBC server but, fortunately, it was cached by Google. To access it, Google 'bbc holiday cape verde' and then click on 'cached' at the end of the first non-sponsored link.
