Laptop internet

I have recently brought a new laptop and was wondering the best way to get mobile/wirless internet. It has an internal 56k modem that works fine through my land connection that i use my home PC on. I'd like to know how to get the best mobile internet connection through either mobile phone/PC card e.t.c. Also if anyone could give me any good tips or any idea how much it costs & Best isp's it would be greatly appreciated as i'm stumped. Cheers!

i have laptop with wifi card in it 802.11 , i have got broadband connection too.what will i need to access my internet from any part of my house wirelessly please suggest thanks
