I can remember a song we learnt in nursery school about a baby that swallowed the soap and died. One of the lines was "He's dead said the doctor, He's dead said the nurse, He's dead said the lady with the aligator purse". Can anyone remember this song and tell me who the lady with the alligator purse appertains to please?

Its one of those songs that you clap to, like tony macaroni. Except it wasnt dead when we sang it, measles said the doctor, chicken pox said the nurse ( Id have to phone my mum to ask her the rest)
