I comitted adultery last year, just the once, and told my husband. We tried to make a go of it, but now are parting. He is going to name the person in the divorce, but I am worried he will need to be contacted. At the time he tried to blackmail me into seeing him again and I had to go to the police and they warned him off and I am so worried that he will be contacted and start pestering me again. I know his name and town he lives in but not his address. Anyone got any advice?

If you admit to adultery that will be all that is required. Nobody else need be contacted.

There is no need to even name this made in the divorce petition. It is far easier if he isn't named, in fact.

There is a time limit though - your husband has 6 months from knowledge of the adultery to start proceedings.

Well he found out about this man in October last year, he reckons he has seen solicitor though. I do not mind this man being named but do not want him contacted, though as I do not know his address do not know how that would happen anyway.
