Am i the only person in the country that absolutley hates Big Brother?????
BB 1 was fine as it was something different, BB 2 i could understand as a follow up to BB1 but now it's just getting stupid.
I also undersytand that C4 have signed up for another 8 series..........................GOD HELP US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't there enough "reality tv" shows on. Can the programmers not come up with something else? I'd rather watch a full series re-run of something like "Rentaghost" which i hated the first time round. Thats how much i hate BB.
Please let me know if you feel the same so i don't feel like the odd 1 out.
Cheers everyone

If there was no BB category, the rest of AB would be uncompromisingly swamped by BB topics. Just imagine it, and you'll never question the BB category.
Do I hate Big Brother? Yes. I detest it with a passion. But the simple fact of the matter is that nobody is taping my eyes open forcing me to watch it.
What irritates me considerably more is a certain section of the BB audience - who insist on talking about the damn show 24/7 and then insist on asking you what you think about it - despite the fact that you don't watch it - or bitching incessantly about people they've never met.
Why does this bother me? Because I don't give a stuff about the BB house, or anything, or anyone, in it. I don't care. I'm not in the slightest bit interested, and being frequently immersed in it is a fantastic way to make me scream.
Sorry. Rant over. Carry on.

Incredibly, yet again, people who hate the show like to come onto the BB thread to tell us this. Like we care. Watch it , don't watch it, it doesn't worry us. We like it.
Maybe you can find a thread that interests you. There are plenty of BB haters out there who don't seem to be able to find the off switch. I am sure they have other interests.
Rant over.

Hi everyone
Further to my original posting i would just like to add the following:
I do not watch and have never watched the programme out of choice, hence the OFF button is out of bounds to me. I just can't understand why it is such a big thing to those avid viewers out there. I baffles me why you would want to tune into something where there are commplete strangers acting like idiots 24/7 and then want to take about it all the time. surely there is more to life than that??
I don't want to upset you BB fans, i just want to know how many people DONT like it, their views and comments are interesting to me..

Agree with sunflower, if you hate it so much why venture into the BB section and ask who else hates it? You say you don't want to upset BB fans so surely you've got to expect people who do like it to ask your reasons why post about hating it when you could just not watch it. You do have a choice, leave the room if your not allowed to switch off or turn over. Maybe that hour is a chance to catch up on correspondence or to start a new hobby? ;o)
Seriously tho, don't want to fall out with anyone over a TV prog. I watch it because I like to people watch, I like getting caught up in scandal and who pee'd in the shower etc. It's something different to talk about.
I hate sport, can't understand why some people take football for example so seriously but you don't catch me (or others anymore since they changed the sports section to the SAB) starting up a thread asking who else hates football, I just don't venture in there and accept that it is each to their own.
Anyway, what about if you can't beat them (with a stick, which will probably some day happen on BB) join them? :o)
