Does anyone know where the desert scenes in Capricorn One were filmed? I think it's in Arizona but I'd like to know where exactly. Thanks.

Weren't they filmed in Arizona or Nevada? I remember reading a review once and I'm sure it was largely shot in the area around Barstow en route to Las Vegas and some at the Hoover Dam. Perhaps some other film boffin knows for sure?
