Ok hypothetically if you came home from work and your good lady friend set you up a homemade quiche (along with salad and new potatoes) for tea would you be dissapointed? I have often heard that real men don't eat quiche.

lol!........Oh, I can't think of a witty Sun headline retort!
Question Author
Tiny this would lead to pro flan persons calling for a ban on quiches and petitioning government, hence the Sun headline 'Quiche goes down the Flan'. I really have to get a proper job or any job in fact!
That sounds amazing but for the mushrooms which ming at the best of times but will also make your base soaking wet.
Question Author
Well thank you skreechee, I fried the mushrooms first in butter to remove as much moisture as possible, and the base appears to be fine!
They are still minging and a waste of what sounded like a beautiful quiche in the making! (I really detest mushrooms!)
Question Author
LOL skreechee, guess you are not coming to tea then! Headline in the Sun 'Fun guy detests Fungi!
Errrrmmm...warring pig makes....

nope, still failing to come up with one, I can't believe I wouldn't even be intelligent enough to work for the sun!
"Not mushroom for improvement there then!"
i'm with you on this one skreechee, mushrooms are just wrong, i have a theory when slugs die they become mushrooms.......
Curse you both for taunting me with your puns!
Question Author
LOL tiny, come you flan do it.
carakeel and myself just love mushrooms, we often have 2 or 3 very large mushrooms covered in loads of garlic butter.

Absolute heaven!!
iT would be very nice as it shows she made an effort instead of getting it out of a tin or packet
Leave out the courgettes and e-mail me a slice - in fact e-mail 2 and that's tommorow's tea sorted. My OH will happily scoff quiche.
