I have been recenlty seeing this really nice guy, we get on very well, the only thing is he doesnt shower everyday and has a very strong body odour. I don't know how to raise this as I don't know him very well, but I think it might start to annoy me if nothing is done about it.

Just tell him straight up he's a smelly w@nker and do us all a favour.
buy him some aftershave or some body spray , failing that say can u smell a skunk ? or is that just your natural body odor ?
Doesn't shower every day? What is he a tramp???

No he isn't a tramp prob just a typical student. I think I probably have to tackle it light heartedly but how? I don't want to hurt his feelings, but personal hygiene is important!
Thing is Alibob I'd be very wary of someone who has so little interest in their personal hygiene lol

Thats the thing...why would someone like him not wash, does he not smell it himself? Id like to think that I am a clean person, because I shower every day! He is a nice guy and attractive this is the problem!
It won't just be his pits you need to worry about lol

Is he bothered about the way he dresses, what he eats etc
Surely it must be a bit of a cheese factory down in his under crackers as well! Why dont you offer to shower together (and take a brillo pad in with you) that might inspire him a little!
Black Noir - How rude lol that was what I was insinuating lol

Take some swarfega as well and domestos could be an option....
Or you could get him hosed down like they do in prison films then throw some of the white lice powder over him lol
He may well be a nice guy and attractive but he clearly has no sense of smell. You could always try joining him on his "stinkathon" dont shave for a few weeks, or wipe after a number 2's, brush your hair or change clothes whenever you see him.....I bet he will complain about your personal hygiene soon enough!!

I was thinking that....you know downstairs...Its put me off him, I think he is stillhung up on hisn ex....so maybe hes let himself go? Can't be bothered to maintain a beast, it helps if they are already fresh and clean to start with lol. Someone like that obviously doesnt care that much about themselves!!
just tell him straight whats the point in starting a relationship where you tip toe around each other? If my partner smells from being at work etc i tell him to get in the shower simple as! you could bring it up by asking him if he is going in the shower before bed, he may take the hint and just go or he may not, in which case I would tell him he could sleep else where as I like my men fresh! If you cant be so harsh then try joking with him... tell him he smells of Walkers cheese and onion and you only like plain..LOL ewwwwwwww
