I reckon they can appear in the same phrase - so there should be little difficulty in getting both into a single sentence. Something like "Laborious idleness produced the best results" :-)

Yes. An oxymoron is a contradiction reduced to only two or three words, and a paradox is a seemingly contradictory situation. e.g.

It is an open secret that the child is the father of the man.
