I vividly remember picking up a trifle in a glass bowl that my mum had spent ages making, raising it over my head and smashing it on the kitchen floor. I was a s0d when I was little! Lol. x
My brother and I being walked in a pram at night in the rain as my big sister had gone into labour with my niece (we lived in a very rural village with no car and she stayed about a mile up the road)I was 3 at the time. And the budgie flying round the kitchen whilst my mum cleaned out the cage. I hated that budgie which I called 'bad bird'. I also used to call the corner of the table the 'wolf' as it used to hurt me when I bumped my head on it. I was wierd.
oh no , do I have to admit it again !!!.......( blush )
My earliest memory is of standing in the headmistresses office at infant school whilst she rummaged in the spare knicker drawer to get me a dry pair . :-(
( at least I hope it was infant school ) x
I remember being wrapped up in a towel and being held by my dad, after the bath, while he was getting my babygro or jamas or something out of the airing cupboard.
I also remember my brother poking a golly (well it was the 70's!!) round the door to cheer me up when I was in hospital, aged about two.
I can remember lying in my crib! I know it was in the house my parents moved to when I was 2 1/2, so I may have been about 3. The bars of the crib seemed to go on forever...
Being in hospital with suspected meningitis :( and having a nurse take blood from my ankle because they'd run out of veins.
It wasn't meningitis but my best friend at primary school used to take great delight in telling everyone I nearly died in a very dramatic voice :)
What's yours Carla?
Isn't the term "Bumble bee" just delightful? Always makes me smile.
I remember my father being really annoyed that I was mashing all my food together and then grabbing my plate and throwing the whole lot down in the bin!!!
quite small i was about 2 or 3. sitting on the grass having picnic with parents and was hurt by a red ant on my funny
then a bee had a go at me too right on my head.
well that is to remember!
Being in hospital aged two (young, I know but I described the memory to mum who says it's accurate). I remember being in a cot with pink and white striped sheets. There were Mr. Men stickers on the window (I had Mr Happy on my window) and I remember the nurse and my mum sitting talking at the end of the ward, to my right!!
My sister terrifying me! We used to have bunk beds and she, being the oldest, was on the top one. After our mum left our room after saying goodnight, my loving sister would then lean over and look down at me and say......"when you go to sleep, I'm going to kill you"........I can remember fighting every night to NOT fall asleep!! I was about 3 at the time.
To this day I still call her my evil sister!!!
