Is America trying to Ruin great Brittish shows. They are currently trying to Create they're own version of Docter Who just cos they like the David Tenent Shows. They even want Billie Piper to star in the show just after quiting about a year ago. Even with the fantastic showcoming out of America Lately, they aren't going to achive the originality thats has been made with the new seasons.

Well it's taken them long enough! Doctor Who has been around for a very long time. And I'm not sure about originality - yes, it's a good series with good special effects but I don't think the story lines are as good as some of the older Doctor Whos. A whole story is packed into one episode these days, I preferred it when a story (and the suspense) was kept going for a few weeks.
Why don't they just show the British programmes instead of recreating them? In Britain we don't immediately have to make British Frasier, British Simpsons and so on, just because we enjoy the American version but would like them more if the were British! Foolish fools.
America does get the new series of Doctor Who, it is shown on the Sci-fi Channel over there.
I doubt the BBC would licence an American version of Doctor Who while their own version is in production.
I can guess that the Americans are looking to replicate the success of Doctor Who with a similar show, just as the BBC were looking to make something similar to Buffy the Vampire Slayer years ago.
i bet they havent got their own Deal or no Deal : P
