they are closing down. Im so gutted. They were much better than anyone else on th high street for dvds!

At Christmas time, I ordered no end of DVD's & Cd's from Play.com. The prices were very good & the service was excellent.


If you don't wish to buy on-line, there are plenty competetive high street shops & supermarkets to chose from.

personally I'm not surprised they have gone into receivership. I always found them far too expensive , our local one closed down ages ago which was attributed to the chinese lillegal immigrants hanging around outside selling pirate dvds but I would still say higher prices than supermarkets and internet only sites are the prime causes.

a good online shop for dvds is www.icegadgets.co.uk they are really cheap.
