can you reccomend an evergreen climber for my trelis work. it's above a pond, so would ldeally like small flowers, no fruit, and needs to be safe for my fish and water.

If it's a fairly mild and sheltered aspect, you could try a star jasmin (Trachelospermum jasminoides) or a Clematis ie C. armandii which is an evergreen species.

Thanks TBird! Funny enough I bought Jasmine yesterday and a passion flower after much conversation with garden centre workers!!
