Have just replaced the engine in the above car but it will not start. It seems like the fuel is not comming through. It sometimes starts but it just cuts out straight away. Any suggestions as to what i should check?

Cheers

As the fuel system has been disconnected, you most likely have air bubbles trapped in the HP lines. Bleeding the system should sort it out.

Slacken off the unions where the fuel lines connect to the injectors about half a turn, and wrap a piece of rag around each one to contain fuel leakage. Give the engine a good long cranking with the gas pedal to the floor. Retighten the fuel unions, and you should be sorted.
