Stewed fruit

Probably a silly question,but here goes !
I stewed some rhubarb at the weekend meaning to have it either yesterday or today.However,my husband is working until the weekend now - will it keep ok in the fridge ?

Should be fine, I regularly do this as I love very cold rhubarb, not too sweet.

do you drink alcohol? if you do you can barely cover the top of stewed fruits with brandy or whiskey or any alcohol of your choice.

oh that is interesting I would have not realised you could keep stewed fruit for a week. Will keep that in mind.
I should be very wary of keeping anything for a week once cooked, even in the fridge. Surely something acidic such as rhubarb will begin to deteriorate and even if it's not; off as such, the flavour will be affected? I may well be wrong H but I'd be careful!
