When listening to the radio I have found that there is a time lapse between digital and am/fm radio. So could somebody tell me which one is giving the correct time time checks as there is approximately a minutes difference between them? Thanks.
Most likely the am/fm time signal. This is because digital radio, as digital tv has to send its signal to a satellite then down to the receiver, resulting in the time lag.
The delay has nothing to do with sending to a satellite. It is simply to do with the time it takes to convert the program and compress it at the transmitting end, and to decompress and convert to analogue at the receiving end
