was in north star where there were apparently lots of 'wendys'. the service was amazingly bad and the other customers (west endy types with bicycles and wellies on and men in red jeans etc)seemed to take a dislike to us immediatley although the bacon buttie was mega....! you from the westend fine, thanks?
You yourself use the phrase "west endy". Perhaps that's all that 'wendy' is...ie an abbreviated version of that...w+endy. If so, a wendy would be just the sort of person who inhabits the West End. I'm only guessing, mind you.
That's exactly what I thought Quizmonster.
A window....

I'm from Scotland and we call windows windy's, well bad spelling but this is how it's pronounced.

I can assure u 100% it means window

Hope this helps

xx
A wendy is a non manly man - not gay, just not manly in the traditional "bash them on the head with a club" type. They will be organic quiche eaters, usually have a wife called jocasta and kids called Angus and Finn who go to Steiner schools to keep them in touch with their inner selves. I could be wrong though!!!
I should think that just about covers what Teag1rl and I were suggesting earlier, Annie.

Yes annie - one of the 'men' was wearing red jeans - obvious 'wendy wear'.
