help!!! please!!!

im 16 and i want to go to tenerife, crete or greece alone with my 16 year old friend. we will be unacompanied is this ok?? can you stay in a hotel abroad alone when you are 16??

no reason why you cant. I went my first holiday with group of 3 friends to Majorca at the age of 16 as were my friends. That was quite a few years ago but dont see why there would be any change. Not sure what the law is but certainly never had any problems getting in bars etc either.

You will be allowed to travel, and book into a hotel provided you can pay the bill...but please be aware that if this is your first time abroad without adults you will have to be very careful.
Resorts in these places are very popular with younger people and there are lots of unsavory characters waiting until you get very drunk ect to take advantage...i dont just mean sexually! Drinks are very cheap and are often different brands to what you get at home as well.
My friend was 17 and got chatting to a bunch of people by the beach, when she went to meet her friends she found they had stolen her passport and purse! (they were british tourists!)..magaluf
Another situation happened when a pair of teenage girls were stopped by a car with a flashing light and told to get in by 'police'...faliraki ..a local man came up and told the girls it wasnt a police car at all and not to get in.
On one trip to greece a woman in our hotel let her daughter and friend go out to the clubs, they separated from each other and came home alone in taxis...never do this! One of the girls had to jump out of the taxi becasue the driver was feeling her up! She was v lucky to get away.
Dont want to scare you, but keep your wits about you and you canstill have a good time (and come home in one piece!)

I think if you're only 16 you have to get permission from your parents.

They only have to sign something.

I think this is right, but it was a while a go as i needed it done for me.
