No it isn't - it's 7 hours. The bit in the USA which is 8 hours behind is only California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and part of Oregon.

*GAB Bernardo. Sorry to contradict you but Pheonix & Tucson (in Arizona) are Mountain Time Zone GMT -7 which is 8 hours behind us now. See this site http://www.worldtimeserver.com/ The Navajo Reservation in Arizona is 7 hours behind us ie GMT -6. They are different because tha Navajo Reservation (most of it anyway) adopts daylight saving in summer. California is on Pacific Daylight Time during the summer (GMT -7) so is the same as Arizona at the moment.
