disabled carers allowence
anyone know a link or were i need to contact to report someone claiming carers allowance for two people at other ends of the country ?

I know a couple both of whom qualify but the allowance goes direct into their bank account. It appears to be up to them to do whatever they wish with the money. The authorities have no interest in who actually does the 'caring' or whether they are paid or not.

thanks for your answer, but it seems to be if you are a carer of a disabled person, you can register as the carer and get payed �47 odd pence for the careing you do for them, as long as you only work a max of 18 hours a wk, and as the person i am in dispute with works 37hrs a wk and the person he is being paid to care for also works with us full time, and he claims for his disabled mother who lives 120 miles away in devon.
