switch payment

i used my switch card to make a payment 4 weeks ago and the money has not come out of my account, why? and can they still take it after all this time?

Why? - who knows. A guess is it's come out of someone else's account in error. When (?if) they spot it then the error will be corrected.

Can they still take it - yes, in principle for up to 6 years. 4 weeks is really not 'all this time' in the larger scheme of things.
