strawberry plants

I have about 30 strawberry plants in my allotment and have space to grow something next to them - has anyone got ny suggestions for compatible flowers or veg?

Bush Beans or Pole Beans, Lettuce (especially leaf varities), Onion (green or dried), Spinach and Peas are good companion plants for your strawberries, but not cabbage.

Almost any flowers will accept being near strawberries, but especially Marigolds, since they repel numerous varities of insects...
