any1 remember the hovis loaf shaped biscuit they were a proper dunkin biscuit, the only place I can find them is morrisons, oh and in the top 10 of bicky`s is the thrupenny biscuit and the massive dundee biscuit (well they were in the 80`s) both available from the school tuckshop, where are they now
A slightly different take --
can you remember the small hovis loaves, about 2 1/2 inches long which bakeries used to produce? They used to cost about one old penny.
I'm just ancient!!
Then that makes me ancient as well pinus!! The first time I had these was at the Ideal Home Exhibition in the 50's. It seemed so special to have your own tiny Hovis loaf.
I bought some havis biscuits in Tescos last week but prior to that, they not had them in for ages. Delicious with cheese I agree. We used to get the little Hovis loaves on our way home from school,. Yummy
