Re-sellability of Jaguar XJS or Mitsubishi Pajero
I'm looking to get one either of these in the next couple of months at a cost of about 2500 - I know I'm not going to get a "minter"!!!!!!!.
I won't be able to afford to run either one for longer than about 3-4 months, but just want to experience owning one.
Does anyone have any opinion on the re-sellability of whichever one I get?

I enjoyed owning one but never again unless the lottery comes up and I can afford a new one.
Very high depreciation and difficult to sell especially with the hight cost of tax and poor fuel consumption.

The XJ6 is Princess Diana - Elegant, thouroughbred, classy, but also troublesome, expensive and slightly unstable.
The Pajero is Charlotte Church - Chunky but cute, no nonsense, relaxed and casual, reliable and easy maintenance (but rumoured to be just a little bit bit thirsty.)
