Dont want the answer to a question but can anybody please tell me if there is a GAUGIN as against GAUGUIN or is there an error in the quiz I cant find Gaugin in any of my reference books and when I google it always comes up with Paul Gauguin. Thanks very much to anbody who knows.

I Googled and got a painter Gougin his dates are 1848-1903

Thanks for that but the question suggests that Gaugin built something rather than painted.

Gaugin is a very common misspelling of Gaugin - almost as common as Portugese for Portuguese!

Which ever way you want to spell it , he went to South America for a time which might provide you with a clue for the answer
