Im officially freaked out - whenever i scratch my head i get black bits under my nails. What is this, has anyone here had/got it and how do i stop it!!

sorry if these are silly questions but have you been working in a particularly dirty or dusty area today? Have you used any hair dye recently? could just be any of these things - anything else I am not sure sorry.

Ive recently used a 3-day-hair-dye and i have washed it lots and it still doesnt seem to be getting rid of them.

i think there must be some dye in your scalp and that is what you are getting under your nails. Just keep washing!! Not sure if there is a particular shampoo that helps get rid of dye better than others.

next time you wash your hair scrub your scalp, it sounds like it has dyed your skin too.
